SLANT Wins Another National ADDY, Purchases Facebook

OK, so we didn't purchase Facebook. But we did win a sweet piece of new hardware. And while we're not usually inclined to brag about ourselves, when it comes to rockstar clients, we're gonna raise the roof all about it.

SLANT: Now with even more ADDY goodness

Earlier this month Christopher, Will and their lovely wives flew to Austin, TX to accept a National Advertising Federation Silver ADDY in logo design for Kebo, the one-handed bottle opener. This is our 2nd National Addy, and our first in the Logo category. Of course none of this would matter without the right kind of client to engage in such creative debauchery. To that end, we thank Rush3 Studio.

The ADDY Awards is the world's largest advertising competition with over 50,000 entries received each year. When told that the Kebo logo was in the company of other national winners like the Volkswagen Darth Vader ad and the Allstate "Mayhem" campaign, the client was only a little giddy. Then when we asked for a quote, he responded with:

I brought the humblest of projects to Slant, yet they took it on as if it was the most important project of their careers. Being witness to their design process and creating this brand for me has been the thrill of a lifetime.

Which made us just a little giddy.

So, congratulations to Rush Dixon of Rush3 Studio! And thanks for letting us bring this home to the Charleston Creative Community.
